International Collaborations in Infectious Diseases

The Society has collaborated with international societies in hosting international infectious disease conferences. This included: Western Pacific Congress of Chemotherapy and Infection Diseases in 1996, International Congress on Infectious Diseases in 2002, International Symposium on Antimicrobial Agents and Resistance in 2007, and Western Pacific Congress of Chemotherapy and Infection Diseases in 2010. 

In 2021 the Society organised the Asia Pacific Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infection in a hybrid format after it was postponed from the original date in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
