Membership
Membership is open to any person with interest in infectious diseases. These may include students or professionals in infectious diseases, microbiology, epidemiology or public health.
There are four types of membership by subscription:
(1) Ordinary members shall be doctors, scientists and research workers, with an annual fee of $25
(2) Associate members shall be nurses, technicians, and other non-medical/scientific professionals affiliated with the practice of infectious diseases, with an annual fee of $12
(2) Life membership is open to ordinary and associate members, with a one-time fee of $250 for ordinary members and $120 for associate members
(3) Corporate members shall be pharmaceutical firms, business organisations and other registered bodies affiliated with infectious diseases, with a joining fee of $1,000 and an annual fee of $100
Distinguished persons who have rendered notable service to the Society or the advancement of infectious diseases may be conferred honorary membership.
